Why we built this
Built by people who sat the exam — and decided £2,000+ for prep was absurd.
Traditional providers still charge thousands for blended programmes that lean heavily on video lectures. SQE1 is a knowledge-heavy, single-best-answer exam. What actually moves your score is question reps, immediate feedback, and circling back to topics where you’re below the pass band.
We built SQE1 Prep around that loop. It’s independent (no investors, no corporate parent), it’s priced like software not a degree, and the entire syllabus is mapped to the SRA’s September 2026 specification, which first applies to SQE1 in January 2027. If it doesn’t help you in the first 14 days, you get your money back, and that includes the ebooks until you download one.

Practice & mocks
So many questions to test myself on
“I was previously reading textbooks and the reading was not going in well due to lack of application. SQE1pre allows me to test myself on 4,400 questions and tells me the weak areas to focus on. Other textbooks or mock books have far fewer questions and when I was using those repeatedly, I felt I was getting higher marks because I had read the questions before. With SQE1prep, I rarely see repeat questions and each mock is a learning experience.”

Value for money
This website offers an excellent combination of quality and affordability
“It is difficult to find SQE1 preparation materials of this standard at such a reasonable price. It is a valuable initiative and provides a strong foundation for students preparing for the SQE1 examination, particularly those who may not be able to afford expensive preparation courses. I wish you every success in continuing to develop the platform and in reaching more students who could benefit from this accessible and high-quality resource.”

Excellent product and unparalleled customer support
“I have been using SQE1prep for my revision, and I am very impressed with the app. The platform is effective, well-structured, and I have found that I am definitely learning more the more I use the app.
I recently requested a feature to save my progress during practice quizzes so I could resume later, and the team implemented the change almost immediately.”
