By accessing or using SQE1 Prep (the "Service"), operated at sqe1prep.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including free and premium users.

SQE1 Prep is an online exam preparation platform for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination Part 1 (SQE1). The Service provides:

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• Each person may only maintain one account. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access the source code of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

All content on SQE1 Prep — including but not limited to practice questions, answer explanations, study notes, flashcards, mock exam content, and user interface design — is the intellectual property of SQE1 Prep and is protected by copyright law.

• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial study purposes only.
• This licence does not include the right to modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content.
• Screenshots or excerpts for personal study notes are permitted, but systematic reproduction is prohibited.

• SQE1 Prep is an educational study tool, not a provider of legal advice or a substitute for formal legal education.
• We do not guarantee that using our Service will result in passing the SQE1 examination. Exam success depends on many factors beyond our control.
• While we strive to ensure the accuracy and currency of all content, we make no warranties that the materials are error-free or reflect the most recent changes to the SQE1 exam specification.
• The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• SQE1 Prep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• We are not liable for any loss resulting from exam results, career decisions made based on our content, or reliance on the accuracy of any material.
• We are not liable for temporary service interruptions, data loss (beyond what reasonable security measures can prevent), or issues caused by third-party services.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

• You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Account deletion permanently removes all your personal data and study progress.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.
• Upon termination for a violation, you will not be entitled to a refund for any premium access purchased.
• We may discontinue the Service at any time with 30 days' notice to registered users.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
