Sit full SQE1 mock exams on your phone

The mock engine in SQE1 Prep runs full-length FLK1 and FLK2 simulations: 180 single-best-answer questions against a five-hour clock, scored on completion, with every question drawn fresh from the 4,400+ bank so a retake is never the same paper twice. There are 45-question minis for weeknights, and both run entirely offline.

Timing is the half of SQE1 nobody revises

Each SQE1 paper gives you roughly a minute and a half per question, sustained across sessions that together fill a working day. Plenty of candidates know the law and still fail on pace: question 140 arrives and the clock has already spent their margin. The only fix is sitting full-length papers under the real constraint until the rhythm is boring. An unlimited mock engine makes that a weekly habit rather than a precious one-off from a provider charging per attempt.

What to do with the result screen

A mock score on its own is a mood, and the review is the revision. The result screen shows your percentage against the pass line, total time, average seconds per question and the miss count; the review then replays every incorrect answer with its full explanation. The productive loop is mock, review every miss the same day, then send the weak topics back into ordinary practice for the week. Your per-subject accuracy chart shows whether the loop is working.

Minis on weeknights, full papers at weekends

A full paper is a five-hour commitment, so the app also runs 45-question minis that fit an evening and keep the format warm between weekend sittings. If you want to benchmark in a browser first, the website runs a free FLK1 and FLK2 mock, and there is a separate write-up on decoding your score against provider pass lines.

How to sit a full FLK1 mock on your phone

  1. 1

Download the app free. Install SQE1 Prep from the App Store; the mock engine lives under Mock Exams.

  2. 2

Choose the full FLK1 paper. Pick the 180-question timed simulation rather than a mini.

  3. 3

Protect the five hours. Book the block in your calendar and switch the phone to airplane mode; the exam runs fully offline.

  4. 4

Sit it in two halves. Take a short break at question 90, mirroring the real two-session structure.

  5. 5

Review every miss the same day. Work through each incorrect answer and its explanation while the reasoning is fresh, then re-drill the weak topics during the week.

Quick answers

Are the mock exams timed like the real SQE1?
Yes. Full papers run 180 questions against a five-hour clock, and the result screen reports your average pace per question so you can compare it with the roughly 90 seconds the real exam allows.
Can I retake a mock without seeing the same questions?
Every attempt draws fresh from the 4,400+ bank, so retakes stay honest. You can sit as many full papers or minis as your revision plan needs.
