How long does bankruptcy typically last?
Most debtors are AUTOMATICALLY DISCHARGED from bankruptcy after 12 MONTHS. After discharge, the debtor is released from most bankruptcy debts. Early discharge is possible if the Official Receiver concludes investigation early.
